School Profiles
This was my very first and lengthiest project. It is basically a web entry system allowing school officials (principals) to enter pieces of data specific to a school. Some data such as proficiency test scores are not editable and get automatically populated from elsewhere. The end result is a large publication detailing each school gets sent to every parent in the school district. This project saved thousands of dollars per year for the school district.
Now don't think this project that you are seeing would normally take the 2.5 years that it took to get to this point. It was given to us as a small learning project to introduce us to C# and .NET for a couple of weeks. Next thing we knew four people worked on this thing full-time for almost 8 months.
Done, right? No, the next year they decided to change almost every single requirement to practically create a new project. Things changed on a daily basis. I'm not talking a tweak to something. I'm talking they said they wanted A on monday, then once it was done they said they actually wanted non-A (actually B). Massive rework was being done consantly. The two of us still involved with the project now refuse to even start a project until *finalized* specifications are drawn out.
A few examples of the output of this publication system.

Senior Project Report. Ben Freeman used our project as his senior project at CWRU and won first place (with a $500 stipend!). This is his report which details the project very well.
